The City of Georgetown public works department promotes the general health, safety and comfort of its residents, small commercial customers and visitors with dedicated and excellent services. Our department is comprised by three line divisions:

Fleet Services a.k.a. City Garage provides quality fleet management, equipment repair and safe vehicles so that the City of Georgetown is thoroughly equipped to serve its citizens. We seek new and innovative ways to improve the quality and cost of our services by using the latest technology and methods to keep pace with the industry and our service needs.

Holiday Schedule
Due to the Fourth of July holiday on Monday, July 4, 2011, there will be not Sanitation and Street services for the following areas:
Maryville & Bayview
Country Club Estates
North of Highmarket
Services in these areas will resume on Thursday, July 7, 2011.
