Lynn Wood Wilson resides in Georgetown with his wife Paula.  They have one daughter and granddaughter.  He is a graduate of Wingate College and East Carolina University with a degree in history.  He retired from banking and is a Realtor with Prudential Source One Properties.

He is a member of the First Baptist Church where he sings in the choir and is a Sunday school teacher.  He also serves as a lay speaker. 

He is a member of the Georgetown County Economic Development Commission, founder of both the Indigo Choral Society and the Mayor’s Annual Prayer Breakfast.  He is a former member of the Jaycees, Optimist Club, Salvation Army, Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International and South Carolina Municipal Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Wilson has served the City of Georgetown as a Councilmember and Mayor for the past 20 years.
