What day is my pickup schedule for household garbage?

Mondays and Thursdays:

Maryville & Bayview, North of Highmarket & Country Club Estates. Bonds St., Saville St., Richmond Dr., Howell St., Wigfall St., Huger Dr., Westside of Blackriver Rd., Gardenia Circle, Camellia Circle, Azalea Circle and the Northside of Church St. from Blackriver Rd. to Hwy. 701.

Tuesdays and Fridays: Historic District, Willowbank & South West End of Georgetown.

What day is my pickup schedule for recycling?

Tuesday:

Historic District & Willowbank

Wednesday: Maryville & Bayview
Thursday: North of Highmarket & Country Club Estates
Friday: South West End of Georgetown

What can I recycle?

You can recycle:

  • Bottles
    • glass (clear, green, brown)
    • plastic (any color or density)
  • Cans
    • aluminum (drink and food cans)
    • steel (no aerosol)
  • Paper
    • newspaper, telephone books, bond paper and computer paper (no junk mail)
    • unwaxed corrugated board (no cereal boxes or soft drink cartons)
  • Used motor oil (container must be tightly closed)
  • Auto batteries (place beside, not in, recycling bin)

What day is schedule for yard waste, debris and other junk items?

Monday:

Willowbank to Merriman Road, including all streets north of Church St. and north of Highmarket to northwest of Merriman Rd.

Tuesday: Merriman Road to Highmarket. North Merriman Rd., Whitesbridge Dr., including all streets around west of Highmarket and Anthuan Maybank Dr.
Wednesday: South West End of Georgetown
Thursday: Marysville & Bayview
Friday: Historic District
All scheduled days may vary due to workload.

If I am disabled, how can I receive sanitation services?

A disabled person must present in writing, to the sanitation supervisor, a doctor's prescription indicating their disability.

Garbage services will be provided one day per week by sanitation workers.

Why are garbage services not provided on holidays?

The only holiday scheduled to work is the Christmas Holidays due to the volume of garbage.
